11/24/25 -M.C.I. Foods, Inc. Breakfast Burrito Shortage

M.C.I. Foods has extended the temporary product shortage of breakfast burritos through January 2026.

11/21/25 - Simplot Voluntary Recall

Simplot Frozen Food is voluntarily recalling specified cases of Simplot Traditional Reduced Sodium Tater Gems. Affected districts will be contacted by the distributor.

Updated 12/4/25 - ServSafe Classes

Classes will be held at Sysco Central TX.

The cost of the ServSafe Manager Certification course held at Sysco CTX is $175 for the 1-day class and $225 if you want to keep the book. If recertifying or retesting, you may choose to take the exam only for a cost of $90. (Beverages and lunch are provided if the class is held at Sysco CTX)

Please register online. Choose to register as a Sysco customer and pay nothing online, just provide the Sysco account number and the billing will process via Sysco. If you prefer, the Sysco rep can contact me directly with the participant’s name, account and account number, and email address, that is fine as well.
